New Beginning Recovery Review operates various programs throughout Boston, all built on our strongly held belief that no person who is struggling should be asked to do the hardest thing first, on their own, before they are offered the fundamental support they truly need. All of the trust, all of the hard work, all of the victories lead to this. They didn’t just want to win more games, they wanted to win meaningful ones. That teamwork is also needed to play the style that it does by controlling the line of scrimmage. Having that trust is what gives it the ability to play aggressive on both sides of the ball without thinking twice.

Almost half live with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and/or other chronic health conditions. For many, New Beginning Recovery Review represents the last possibility for hope and the first chance for sustained success in their battles with addiction or illness. We provide individuals and their families with the education, tools, and ongoing support they need to help them regain their health, prevent and manage relapse, and maximize their independence. Last year, 4,775 people turn to New Beginning Recovery Review for shelter, sustenance, recovery, care, and professional, compassionate support. Our team of more than 200 staff across 19 programs works with people to develop and execute creative, safe solutions to the very real challenges they face.

On the streets, at our Boston Living Center, and across programs, we work to prevent chronic conditions and overdoses. We provide HIV, Hepatitis C, and STI testing and counseling; a healthy meals program; syringe and naloxone distribution; and an array of education, navigation, and support services. When the only option for women who had been designated a danger to themselves New Beginning Recovery Review Review or others due to substance use disorders needed a community-based treatment option as an alternative to incarceration, we were there to offer a solution.

Prevention

The Sailors earned their first rivalry win over Firelands in 11 years, their first win over Huron since 1966 and their first homecoming win in a decade. They are currently enjoying the program’s best season in nearly 30 years. These benefits are adjusted based on full-time or part-time status, and vacation time increases with length of employment. People’s success ultimately depends on their own belief in themselves and their future.

Our housing stabilization services, including emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and case management, move people off the street as quickly as possible, with as few barriers as possible. The individuals and families we serve are homeless or precariously housed —but their challenges are even more complicated. The great majority have histories of trauma, chronic substance use, and mental health issues.

It didn’t happen overnight, but the Sailors’ work ethic and perseverance have been rewarded. They are now one win away from doing what was thought of as impossible just a short time ago. During the height of the AIDS epidemic, when people diagnosed with both HIV and substance use disorder found themselves with nowhere to go for treatment and care, we were the first to open our doors.
